A guided eight-step process — designed so you can pivot when it matters and stay in budget. Every FLEX project follows this same shape, whether it's a Design & Build, a Lifestyle home, a Rural structure, or a Foundations contract.
Meeting with our design and build team to discuss your vision, needs, and expectations. Budget, timeline, and specific requirements are established — the foundation for everything that follows.
The design team develops a concept plan — the basic layout, functionality, and aesthetic of the building, providing a visual representation of your ideas.
Once the concept is approved, finalised working drawings allow us to produce detailed costings. Iterations here keep the build within budget.
A formal contract outlining responsibilities, timelines, payment schedules, and other legalities, signed by both parties. Everyone clear on what's being delivered.
Building consent and applicable approvals are sought, ensuring compliance with the New Zealand building code. Once consent issues, a detailed construction program is produced.
Managed by a qualified, experienced project manager. Work adheres to the plans, stays on schedule, and remains within budget. Regular updates and site visits welcome.
Our guided process lets you pivot — colours, light fittings, and fixtures can be confirmed during the build rather than up front. Less pressure, better outcomes.
Construction inspected, everything checked against plan, functioning as intended. On approval, the keys are yours — and your new life can begin.
The first meeting is a no-obligation chat. We listen, you ask anything, and we'll tell you honestly whether what you have in mind is a FLEX project.
